Woman Gives Birth to Baby Without Arms in Ogun State; Father Runs Away(+Photo)

The arrival of a baby in every home heralds joy. But this was not the case for Mr. Mudashiru Sheriffdeen of Bosun Street, Ifo in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The wife, Taiwo, was on Tuesday delivered of a baby boy who had no arms. The baby boy weighed 3.25 kilogrammes at birth and was born around 2pm at a private hospital, Majotal Medical Clinic at the Ilogbo area of Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.

The mother of the baby told MetroPlus that immediately she gave birth to the baby boy, her husband took to his heels on hearing that the baby was born without arms.

Expressing her sadness, she said:

The president further stated that, “if you want to be the best, then you must roll with the best, as the English Premier League manager will start tutoring handlers of Nigeria national teams.

“Arsene taught me a couple of things during my visit even in administration. You need to learn from the best to be ranked among the best''. he said

“I hailed his knowledge, he’s truly a professor. It goes beyond just teaching you things on the field, there’s need to also gain some knowledge off the field too.

“He has also pledged to make himself available to us whenever we needed to train our senior coaches, Arsene was overwhelmed by our visit.”

Juventus and Real Madrid star Fabio Cannavaro has been handed a jail sentence for breaking the police seal at his home.

The ex-Italy international defender's villa had been seized as part of a planning abuse investigation, but the 41-year-old breached orders to keep out of his property.

Cannavaro was slapped with a 10-month jail term, while his brother Paolo, who plays for Serie A side Sassuolo, and his wife Daniela Arenoso were also hit with custodial sentences.

However, the trio immediately appealed, which means the sentences are suspended until the court has re-visited the case.

According to an investigation led by prosecutor Luigi Cannavale in the southern Italian city of Naples, they went to the villa for a dip in the pool - ignoring the fact the property had been seized and they were banned from entering.

Hypnotised Housemaid Gives Employer’s N5.5m Jewellery to Fraudsters

Mercy Odita, an 18-year-old domestic house help, has been accused of stealing her employer’s gold jewellery and other fashion accessories worth N5.5m.

Conjoined Twins Successfully Separated For The First Time in History (+Photos)

Conjoined twins who were connected at the chest and abdomen have been separated after an operation that has never before been successfully attempted.

Knatalye Hope and Adeline Faith Mata were born in Texas last April and were welcomed by parents

The parents were told that their twin girls would be conjoined and when they were born it was found their shared the same chest wall, lungs, pericardial sac (the lining of the heart), diaphragm, liver, intestines, colon and pelvis.

A team of more than 26 clinicians, including 12 surgeons, six anesthesiologists and eight surgical nurses who assembled at the Texas Children's Hospital operated to separate the 10-month-olds.

The 26-hour surgery was the first time twins conjoined at the chest and abdomen in this way had been separated successfully.

Ebonyi House of Assembly Complex Burnt to The Ground by Suspected Arsonist

Abakaliki is in chaos after unknown men burnt down the Ebonyi state House of Assembly complex to the ground in the early hours of today.

The fire started in the Accounts department and spread to the media section of the Assembly complex.

The fire according to a source, destroyed some property including sensitive documents of the House. there is however suspicion of foul play as the state accountant general is gearing up for some external forensic auditing before the incident occurred this morning


As at the time of this report, policemen with Amoured Personnel Carrier, APC were seen stationed at the gate of the Assembly complex as journalists and other workers were not allowed into the complex.
