Wickedness!!! Aunt 'whipped nephew to death with belt because he couldn't spell' (See)

A three-year-old boy was whipped to death by his aunt because he couldn't spell, a court heard. Little Ethan Ali was allegedly fatally beaten with a belt by 21-year-old Christen Dale. She admitted administering a series of beatings because he had been struggling with spelling lessons.

According to a written confession, she told how after whipping him with a belt, she also forced him to stand in a corner holding a bottle with outstretched arms until he collapsed and injured his hip.

The next day, the alleged abuse continued, this time proving fatal.

Prosecutors in the case say three-year-old Ethan Ali had buckle marks all over his body.Dale beat him to death in a Brooklyn apartment, according to court papers. His body was covered with buckle markings, prosecutors said. An autopsy showed he “suffered extensive bruising on his torso, back, buttocks, thighs, arms, and scalp,” and prosecutors claim his body was covered in buckle marks. The aunt’s lawyer, Michael Gold, described her as a devoted caretaker who is heartbroken by what happened. He told Brooklyn Criminal Court : “There is no question that my client loved and was attentive to the child.

“What we have here is a tragic result of what can only be described as excessive discipline gone bad.”

Christen Dale had been looking after the little boy for her sister who was working full time as well as taking evening classes. She had taken custody of the boy after his parents had seperated.

His mother Natasha Ali, 27, was working full time while also taking evening classes so asked her sister to help with childcare, according to a source close to the family.

A police officer said: “The father is very upset. The mother is catatonic.” Dale was ordered to be held without bail after getting arraigned for manslaughter and assault charges.
