PDP Councilor Beaten To Death In Bauchi



The chairperson of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Hassana Arkila, yesterday confirmed the death of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) councilor for Gizaki/Badagari Ward, Musa Daniel, who he said was beaten to death by irate youths while on electoral duty.


“I want to confirm the death of a PDP councilor who was beaten to death by irate youths. l am assuring the people of the state that the full wrath of law will catch up with the attackers,” she said.

However, Arkila appealed to the perpetrators of the act to sheath their sword and embrace peace. “The death of the councilor is a signal that the APC is afraid of losing the electoral process. I ask for calm among PDP supporters.”

According to the governor, who paraded the streets of Ado-Ekiti in celebration of his party’s victory in the House of Assembly election as results trickled in Saturday night, his party’s victory has confirmed that the people of the state were solidly behind the PDP:

Lagos: Ambode Leads Agbaje With Over 160,000 Votes


The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the governorship election in Lagos State Akinwumi Ambode is leading the candidate of the Peopel’s Democratic Party (PDP) with over 90 percent of votes collated across the state.


As it stands, Ambode has 724,114 votes, while Agbaje has 560, 453. View results compiled by Sahara Reporters.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to announce the final results later today.

Influential area boy in Oshodi murdered (Graphic Photo)

An influential thug in Oshodi popularly called Baba Esi was allegedly murdered yesterday morning April 9th. He was reportedly a foot soldier used for PDP Campaigns during the presidential elections. However, after the loss of PDP, he decamped to APC and his goons felt betrayed and came for him. At least that's the story they're telling on social media. Man Pours Acid On His Girlfriend After His Pastor Told Him She Was Behind His Illness (Photos)


22-year-old Ghanaian lady identified as Anita Otema (pictured above) has lost her left eye and parts of her body badly disfigured after her ex-boyfriend attacked her with acid at her Abeka Lapaz residence in Ghana following his pastor’s revelation that she was behind his constant ill-health.


Narrating what happened to Ghana’s Joyfm, Anita said her 28 year old ex-boyfriend Kwabena Fosu popularly known as Abodeman attacked her in the night at their home with the corrosive substance after his pastor accused her of being behind his recurring ill-health and told him she (Anita) was making money spiritually through his illnesses.
