Gunmen Kidnap 3 Chinese Workers In Kogi
Three Chinese workers have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kogi State, central Nigeria, the latest of what is fast becoming a usual occurrence in the region, police said Saturday.
“Three Chinese nationals were abducted by some unknown gunmen within the early hours of Friday,” a senior police officer told AFP, asking to remain anonymous.
According to him, the gunmen stormed a quarry outside Lokoja, the capital of Kogi state, and engaged the policemen on guard in a shootout.
Bomb Making Factory Found In Yobe State
The Nigerian military has discovered a Boko Haram bomb making factory in Nigeria’s northeast.
The Director, Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said the discovery was made during the ongoing cordon and search by troops in Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.
According to him, a large quantity of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) used by terrorists were recovered from the site.

The cold hand of death has once again struck the Nollywood industry this year as actor, Orioye Shokunbi just passed on according to reports.
According to Justpyeworld, the actor died after a brief illness and was a member of TAMPAN group.
The actor was married with kids. May his Soul rest in peace. Amen
Recall that fellow actor from the English genre of the industry, Muna Obikwe died earlier in the year and was said to have died of kidney failure in an undisclosed hospital in Lagos.

I can't verify the authenticity of this photo. Someone just sent this to me and claims it happened in Calabar. A female petty thief was allegedly attacked by a mob and then they cut off her left breast. If this really happened, then big shame to these people. And look at a fellow woman walking behind her. Two Men Drowned Inside Mystery Well In Oglewu Ohimini Benue State
Two cousins have died in a mysterious manner in Ai’Oga community in Oglewu District of Ohimini LGA of Benue State.
According to eye witnesses from the community, one of the deceased, Ogbo had entered the well that serves the community with water and was trying to clear refuse from it when he suddenly got stuck and died in the process.
His cousin, Christopher was said to have rushed to the scene and in an effort to rescue his cousin, entered the well when he also got stuck in the process and died.
A member of the community, John Inalegwu described the incidence as a rude shock which have put the entire community in a state of mourning and wondered what must have been responsible for the tragedy.
Meanwhile, the Otukpo Police Area Commander, Mr. Samuel Dra-Koji, when contacted, lamented the death of the youths in such tragic circumstance and sympathized with members of the family.
